About

Monaco Fibers was created as a way for me to share what I love with the world.

For as long as I can remember, I've gravitated towards all things handmade and unique.  At the age of 10, I made a quilt for my great aunt.  It was far from perfect, but it was my first attempt at hand sewing and it made me feel great to be able to give her something that was meaningful and special.  Most of the gifts I've given to loved ones throughout my lifetime have been gifts made with my own hands and with the recipient in mind.  They were always made with care, intention, and love.

I grew up in a small town, but when I moved to Portland, the opportunities for me to learn new crafts expanded.  There are so many talented makers and artists in this city, and I've enjoyed meeting, working with, and learning from so many.  I'm continuously working to explore new skills and exchange ideas with my fellow makers.  I'm thankful to be in such a supportive community that offers so many opportunities for growth as artists.

I am so excited to share these creations with you all and hope to offer pieces that bring joy, beauty, or purpose into your lives.
